Canton's Tokenomics group said it reviewed and approved the milestones for CIP-0072, which adds Fireblocks as a Super Validator with a voting weight of 5, in its June 10 outcomes. The notes indicated the proposal was not eligible for a further 1.5 in weight, while 0.5 in weight was released under an adoption bonus.
Separately, Tokenomics approved an update related to CIP-0091, which covers adding Zenith as a Super Validator of weight 10, saying the update will guide how it assesses future milestones.
In its June 3 outcomes, the group put forward a Canton Coin distribution of 760,158.75 CC tied to CIP-0102, which grants Super Validator status to Canton Strategic. The amount was independently confirmed by two separate parties before being submitted for onchain approval and distribution.
Super Validators anchor the network's Global Synchronizer and carry governance weight, so additions such as Fireblocks — a widely used digital-asset custody and infrastructure provider — signal how the operator set underpinning Canton is taking shape.
