Tokenomics has approved removal of the $1 per-asset cap from its interim asset-marker formula, following a recommendation from the Featured App Accountability Committee.

The former formula was min(50% × transaction cost, $1, transaction cost / N). The updated formula is min(50% × transaction cost, transaction cost / N). For transactions involving two or more assets, the announcement says this simplifies to transaction cost divided by the number of assets.

According to the notice, the prior cap stopped a two-asset delivery-versus-payment transaction’s asset-marker weight from scaling once transaction cost reached $2. It also meant a Token Standard v2 batch of 25 settlements could generate lower asset weight than the same settlements conducted individually.

Tokenomics said the change removes that batching disadvantage while the broader Featured App 2.0b framework remains under review.
